The most ridiculous part of all award shows is when agencies publicize their merit “wins”. What’s next, publicizing all their entry submissions?

In the Marketing Awards annual, there is a chart in the back that tabulates all the awards. It counts “Merits” towards each agency’s award total. So agencies are probably just announcing what it says in the annual. No need to get worked up about it. Most entries don’t even get a merit.

People worked hard even for a merit. Let people be happy.

Merit is a distinction. It appears with the winners and on the site with the gold work. I don’t see why you can’t mention it. At one show those are still really hard to get.

Bragging online about the number of wins in general in corny but merit is still a win, just the least impressive one.

New in TCS but couldn't understand PF procedure and it's deduction from salary.
I am paying PF of amount 2040 getting deducted 2 times from my salary 1st according to CTC and after salary is getting credited then again same amount is deducted, so my question is this correct.
CTC is: PF+ 76185
Salary is: 76185-PF.
PF: 2040 so it's getting deducted 2 times same amount every month. Before salary is paid and after.

Hey guys, I’m a freelance broadcast producer and I’ve spent most of my career working for larger agencies. I’m doing something for a smaller agency and they want the production company to hide costs in their bid and then have production bill the client the inflated amount directly and pay the hidden costs to the agency. The agency is calling it a “consultation fee” but client just thinks production costs more. Is that common and I just haven’t experienced it before? Or is this a big red flag?
