Are 8:30am daily check-in meetings reasonable? (We already have 9:30am daily standing meetings with the internal team, and now have an 8:30am standing meeting for a smaller subset of that team as well). I would far prefer to meet later in the day or at least after the 9:30am checkin...is it reasonable to suggest meeting at a later time that I think would be more productive? (For addt’l context, the full team is still quite small, so I find this to be very redundant)

No nothing about this topic or am involved...but recently saw a CNN Journalist call a Foreign Minister “anti Semitic” when he said “Israel has deep pockets” and “controlling the media”

Can anyone explain why this is anti Semitic? It was targeted at Israel (not Jewish people, although they comprise much of Israel) but seemed to me to be a critique. Did not sound anti-Semitic to me.

I have significant equity in a property (300k+) and maybe another 200k across other properties. I have a decent amount of money in cash and already 200k or so in stocks. After doing freelance for the last two years, I’ve decided to go back to the corporate world. I’ve been applying a ton of places but keep getting turned down immediately - not even a first interview and I can’t figure out why.

I feel like I have a lot of good accolades as far as awards, a graduate certificate program board I’m on, really good stats from my previous work, etc.

I have 7 years experience. Are people looking for someone w/ less experience/cheaper?

Since iOS 14 changes, Facebook ads isn't the same anymore. Why?

A. >75% iOS users denied tracking. They are no longer tracked across websites/apps. Facebook lost its edge.
B. Targeting and conversion tracking aren't as effective anymore.
C. Many advertisers have been migrating their budgets from Facebook to Apple and Amazon ads.
