There is a FE lead in this company. People say that he is considered as one of the favorites of senior management. And thats why he is in some sort of attitude where he is often seen arguing, taunting with team members including junior women coworkers. Lot of people say the same thing about him but the problem lies in the spineless management. This company only regards these types of employees and has no respect for talented hardworking or disciplined folks.

How does your company manage (track) all of the documents related to a merger you are working on? Are you using a matter management software, a spreadsheet, shared file, etc? Keeping up with the moving pieces is killing me with just a spreadsheet.

What are your client follow-up/communication policies or practices? I’m hearing more and more that clients don’t like the long periods of time with little to no contact. From my perspective, since I bill for my time, unless I have an update or need something, I don’t initiate a call. Also, clients hold on to important info and don’t initiate a call cause they’re waiting for me to communicate with them.
