There are always clients like this, those clients are the ones that take the longest to place the orders, but they are the ones that complain the fastest that something is missing, blaming others.
That happens when there is no correct planning, but your company can help with this, we have had clients like this, and our strategy is to add discounts when they ask for things on time, the discounts are small, but it is always important to save something.
Raising the demand towards clients should be a more repeated practice in our labour branch; our clients are very spoiled and do not know how to behave.
We do something similar to what the colleague of the discounts mentioned, but in our case we fine customers for the next purchase, that is, when they are late once, an email is sent letting them know that if they are late again, they will be fined.
How crazy that a Dr is so irresponsible that he can run out of supplies, imagine that the life of one of his patients depends on that, we are facing a very crazy event.
Kindly let them know that there are processes involved that he should follow if he wants his things on time.
Poor guy, he probably doesn't know there's a huge line of people before him handling his supplies. Next time, remind him of the times he should respect to get his supplies on time.
How exactly would one deal with this? If it were me and I wasn't working, I'd be like "boohoo dude", but that would mean grounds for termination lol
