There’s gotta be a way to make a good living without sitting on your butt staring at a screen for 10 hours a day.

It’s going to involve some risk. The desk job isn’t long-term for me, it’s a means to an end. I’d love to get into restaurants/bars/lounge regardless of how competitive the industry is, I think it’s much more fulfilling selling an experience than services.

Figure out what you like to do on the side, allocate some of your savings to higher risk investments, and setting some personal goals has been helping me get through the dread of this industry 😄

I agree OP, I am sick of staring at screens all day. I want to be an F1 driver but I’m too old now and too American. Landscaping is high on my list too. Contract trade is a good suggestion too. Would like to use my hands to create something instead of just pushing pixels.

Alaska king crab fishermen and underwater welders make great money. But I’d prefer to sit on my butt all day.

Find something that's only 8 hours a day over 100k and start something yourself. Build passive income and hope one takes off.
