That strikes me as a little odd. Something about pitching ideas to no real purpose but to bat them around seems like, as you say, you're giving the company advice for free. Given that it's a volunteer program I have to assume that people with ideas that may be worthwhile won't be inclined to show up and give them away. So if you think it through, it's unclear what the point of it all would be.

You're already on salary at the company though? Do you think that this is adding to your workload? I normally feel inclined to help my company if it doesn't add too much to my workload, just because I have pride in the place I work and I see their success as tied to my own. But maybe I'm naive.

Yeah I’m salaried, there’s no extra work load which is great, it almost feels like a book/movie club in a way but I’m going to stay cautious for a while.

Would you recommend Sedona during Christmas or San Diego during Christmas with a 1.5 year old? Entertainment, safety, meaningful experience-focused.

Sedona will be much colder, possibly snowing/icy and will be hiking, hot tub, enjoying the scenery focused. San Diego will be beach, enjoying scenery focused. Both Airbnb options look beautiful. Will also have 60 year old grandparents joining
