Looking for some honest advice. Considering an offer with SocGen B’lore for Specialist Software Engineer position with 5.5 years exp and into Tech service management. Could you please tell me a bit about following points?
- 25% of the compensation(5Lakhs) is Variable. Does company even pay 60% of it at the end of the year if you perform say 4/5 rating?

My opinion,
"The fundamental rights of speech and expression":
They hired people left and right with huge salaries.
Now their stocks(or valuation or seeding) are already down so its good to layoff and setback. They already identified the employee who they want, just laying off not needed extra candidates under the virtual fear of upcoming unknown recession. After someday same cycle they will repeat. In India no law is there like if you do mass layoffs then you cant hire for subsequent 3 years, so they think of themselves as GOD. No fundamental rights for IT sector employees. Some of them like playing GOD.
