Hey! Any Google folks know if it’s possible to negotiate fully remote if a contract role is hybrid? Personally, I don’t want to relocate and go to the office on a contract role given the current economy. Plus, I’m assuming contractors are the first to go in layoffs. I just think it’s a fair trade off if I’d be allowed to work fully remote. I’m also trying to have flexibility to manage my Airbnb business in a different country. Same time zone as the home office if I’d travel weeks at a time.

I thought someone posted a while ago they had an OF account, and a married partner was a big fan. Not sure how it would show up on a background check. Maybe they will read this and reply. I think you can block certain countries from seeing the content. Maybe you can do it by state. That way your family/local coworkers can’t see.

I would just think about about the videos popping up in other, more public places like some do. If everything stayed behind the paywall, I’d say go ahead.
Any independence audit will show 1099 income, which will have to be explained. Plus you'd need to get outside activity approval from my B4. Generally, you're supposed to be working fully with no outside "employment".

I wonder if the OF 1099 lists another company name rather than OF. You can always say you make instructional videos with a friend. And yes, I have see OF photos on other sites. I wish OF would mark the image with the subscriber’s info. So they could track who posted it. There are ways to do that invisibly in the image. You can also disguise your face by wearing a ballcap, etc.
