1st, I Love that you are able to recognize your feelings. 2nd, I have taken plenty of "sit in a hole" sessions. Allowing myself space to grieve helps me sort those feelings and recognize my next steps. The tricky part is setting a boundary and timeline for this. Sometimes i give myself an hour, sometimes I need a couple of days. You are not alone. This group was set up because someone else has been there too. Sending healing and positive vibes your way.

Feel free to DM. This too shall pass, whatever it is. Sometimes crawling into a hole (I. E., crawling into bed) is the next right thing. Gratitude lists work wonders too. Can you think of three good things?
1. My dog
2. Successful completion of a long anticipated surgery
3. The hotel I'm at for work travel has really good fruit. Can't wait for breakfast tomorrow.
I'm sorry you're going through it, I have been there many many times. If you have a sponsor, try to schedule a call. If you don't, I would try to let someone in your support network know where you're at for accountability's sake. And just remember that no matter what you can make it until the end of the day. One step at a time right now.
