Anyone hiring for a Marketing Analyst position?
I am currently interviewing at TikTok for the Content Partnerships Lead role. Can anyone share some insight into the salary bands in the Sub-Saharan African market? Should I benchmark with the global rates?
Any tips and experiences interviewing in this region are also welcome - and highly appreciated! :)

Well in the end Nike was still mentioned and is being talked about— people will be searching for those shoes still so it’s a win for Nike still being in the conversation.
I support the athlete in this. They are probably not signed or being paid by Nike. If theres no cheque, no free promotion. Id do the same!
I agree! I feel like it’s a power play - good for the kid!

This isn’t a new phenomenon… just take a look at basketball players throwing bottles of Gatorade off the table at post game press conferences because Gatorade doesn’t endorse them. Covering logos is common enough that I don’t think anyone would look at this and think worse of Nike, but they got their brand callout regardless, so they essentially got free marketing. Win for them?
I assume the kid doesn't have a contract with Nike or he wouldn't be allowed to do that. Maybe it's a chance for Nike to sign him up? I'm wondering if he's got an issue with his country not wanted him to appear to advertise something. Now I'm curious, there could be any number of things going on.
Same! Wonder if it’s a cultural thing or more of no free advertising
Its a way for the athlete to get noticed by the brand or competitive brands in an effort to get sponsors. No free advertising
As PMM1 says, Nike still gets mentioned. I think it can put a little pressure on them to sponsor the kid!
Good for her. No free promotion. Nike was still mentioned so I can’t see them being upset by this and it might inspire a partnership!
