As someone still pretty early in their streaming engineering career - what would you guys recommend as some key things I focus on learning to continue to stay relevant?

Some background - right now I work in a more dev-ops/tech-ops role and don’t have a CS degree. I’m noticing most senior level roles want someone with 5+ years of actual development experience. Which isn’t something I can get on the job currently.

Does anyone have any insight into partners retiring early? I am at a point where I need to consider leaving if I am not aiming for partner. I don’t see myself working past my 40s.
