Hi Fishes, Can Anyone please tell, one of my friend joined Tech M in August, At the time of joining she was 3 months pregnant and now shes worrying about her manager. She wants to inform them about her pregnancy; is it right time to inform? Or she needs to wait for 6 more months for that to inform? Anyone please clearify.. My mom. She's the hardest working person I've ever met. Every time I start whining to myself about work and life, I remember that she worked full time and still managed to raise three kids as a single parent. I've got nothing to complain about.

That perspective from parents hits differently. Watching someone carry that much responsibility quietly changes how you see your own challenges. I think those examples shape our work ethic long before our careers even start.
A former manager comes to mind immediately. During a difficult personal season, she led with empathy - asking whether I needed advice or simply someone to listen. She helped me find flexible work options and reduced hours when I needed them most. That level of empathy made a lasting impact on me.

That kind of leadership stays with you. The moment someone chooses empathy over pure management logic can completely reshape how you see leadership. Experiences like that often influence how we support others later.
I had a mentor early in my career who completely shaped my career. I have told her thank you in the past but she probably impacted my career more than I could even express. I am fortunate to have had so many good people help me along the way.

Early mentors leave such a deep mark. I sometimes realise years later that I am still applying advice someone gave me at the start of my career. It is amazing how one person’s guidance can ripple forward like that.
