Today we’re off-site visiting another school to do research to improve our own. Have you ever had a chance to visit another program? Where would you go if you could?

I was able to go to 2 different schools shortly after beginning teaching and it was a wonderful experience. One was a true vocational school and the other another comprehensive high school like the one I teach in. One of the schools was in MA and the other RI. I would love to see how other states' programs are run, outside of New England.

That’s fantastic. Anyone on this platform is absolutely welcome to reach out to me for a tour of the Brooklyn STEAM Center. DMastrandrea@BrooklynSTEAMcenter.org

I would go to the best private schools.

What would I consistently see?

Small class sizes & experiential learning.

I would love the opportunity to go to another state to see how they do it in their classroom. We only get to go to conferences where everything is staged

I teach hand drafting in my class and the sanitizer and sprays they are using is making the tape not stick, has anyone to run into this and does anyone have any suggestions? We have found if we wipe the table down with multiple kinds of cleaner in soap and let it dry well that it will stick better but this is a huge time consumer as we transition between classes.
