Tonight is our spring concert for K-5th... as a mother of a kinder student and a teacher having to work the concert, that means my work day is from 7-2 then 5-9pm today. from 2-5 it is get the babysitter, feed everyone, dress everyone, and travel in Friday traffic across town to be at the venue by 5. Does this sound like your concert night as well?

Absolutely! Except I usually arrive at school around 6:30 and we can’t leave until 4:00. On concert days, sometimes I just bring a change of clothes in my car! Concert days STINK!!

I used to do that, now my house is on the way to the venue so I stop and change. Thankfully we have early release Fridays so we get 2 hours to eat and change and travel but it is a mad dash due to huge city traffic.

This is a typical Tuesday at my school. Every Tuesday, we teach until 430, then remedial classes til 530, dinner, then supervise evening study until 9pm. Tuesdays SUCK😭
