I’m thinking of starting a podcast interviewing leaders at startups about their experience with specific challenges - I know, cliche, get a more original hobby, etc.

Not looking for the narrative arc of How I Built This or Masters of Scale. Instead, looking to uncover specific problems faced by companies that tried something new for the first time. What did they not see coming, how did they adapt and measure, etc.

In the last two year I’ve gotten more and more into alcohol free beer. The selection in my country (Europe) is still small and mainly driven by the big brands (e.g. Heineken). How do you know what your passion is? I mean I think a lot about golf but i don’t think that’s a passion. It’s my hobby. I think most people just know.

I am currently negotiating a compensation package and part of it includes stock options. What other information do I need to evaluate if the equity component is a good offer ? It’s a ~40 person company and I’ve received the the number of options, most recent valuation, and current strike price. I was also given a dollar range that I can “imagine” the share price would be (I think they were trying to help me do the math without it giving away too much)?
