Vaccination Hesitancy:

Despite the overwhelming evidence supporting the safety and efficacy of vaccines, vaccine hesitancy remains a contentious issue. Healthcare workers must balance the ethical obligation to promote public health with respect for individual autonomy. Engaging in open, empathetic conversations with patients, addressing their concerns, and providing accurate information can help bridge the gap. How do you handle this topic in the workplace ? It’s such a sensitive topic!

This topic is so much deeper now. I don't feel like it is the nurses role to educate or persuade someone clearly on the fence or against vaccinations. You end up in a risk vs benefit conversation which is more the scope of a physician. If it's a simple "we recommend the flu vaccine. Due to your COPD you are at high risk of serious illness should you catch the flu." That is fine. Now, with the Internet and this being a hot topic the conversations around vaccinations are much more in depth and patients are citing studies and news articles and personal injury stories. Risk vs benefit is where you wind up and that is more of a physician conversation.

Given all the recent buzz about expected large raises around the big 4, I’d like to level set on the average salary for a 4th/5th year female senior manager in federal tax ( credits & methods group) in the Midwest - Chicago/Minneapolis/Detroit market. Anyone willing to share a range if they work in a similar area of tax / similar level? I recognize all groups vary greatly in salary expectations, so looking for input specific to my area. Current expectations set at 140-160k. Reasonable?

Heyy does anyone have any tips for an entry level media planner? I graduated last year and landed a FT offer at an agency. I’ve been working from home for almost a month now and honestly it has its pros and cons. Not only is it harder getting to know your team, but there haven’t been much guidance from my manager and the lingo takes some time to get use to. I guess I just want to learn as much as possible and give off good impressions. Since everything is wfh I’ve been feeling anxious. Thanks!

I'm not in sales per se but I manage my company's largest wholesale account ($150 million per/yr account). It's a great company, awesome culture, good benefits, flexibility, but the pay is not great ($60K/yr). All the pros outweighed the mediocre pay, but now with inflation rising, my paycheck isn't going as far and I'm having a really hard time trying to figure out if I should start looking elsewhere or if I should ask my boss for a raise.

Okay so, I find myself in a tough situation. Recently, my professional license became jeopardized. There’s many details that I rather not share publicly just incase, but trust me when I say that this was over a ridiculous complaint that wasn’t serious. I have an attorney involved working with me on an appeal, but I’m really nervous and feel that I morally made the right decisions in the situation that I faced. I was wondering: has anyone ever faced a situation like this? I need advice!

I work in healthcare administration but was a medic for years.
