I've been interviewing with some companies, and now I have to decide between JPMorgan Chase and Globant.
Globant is more innovative, and has remote work. I will enter to work with a Sillicon Valley startup based in San Francisco. The tech stack is React, Nextjs, AWS, and a serverless architecture.
JPM is semi remote, and less innovative. The tech stack Java, SpringBoot and AWS. But I'd do more migration tasks, like dockerize projects and pass them to kubernetes. What would you choose?

Bain & Company Hi everyone,
I have an interview scheduled for Senior Associate, Data Science position with Bain & Company Advance Analytics Group. Can somebody give me an idea about the overall process? As in is it about technical rounds/coding assesments or mainly case oriented only?
Thanks

Depends on how much time you want to spend driving vs relaxing and exploring. For a week, SF to San Diego gives you a lot more room to enjoy the places you visit vs. just driving. Northern CA and the Oregon coast are so beautiful though! Stops:
San Diego
LA
Santa Barbara
Solvang / Los Olivos
Big Sur
Carmel / Monterey
Santa Cruz / Redwood State Park
Half moon bay
SF
Just stick to California for the week and do Oregon another time or vice versa. Start north and drive down so you it’s easier to stop and view the coast. Honestly I think Big Sur beats Oregon coast and I’ve been to both. Also if you do Oregon you should stop by Williamette valley if you like wine and crater lake

Start in the Bay if you only have a week
I flew to San Diego and drove up to SF over 9 days. This felt like a pretty quick pace to me and there was still so much that we didn’t see/weren’t able to stop at.
I wanted to do this and told some west coast folks I was planning to start in SFO.. and all of the feedback I got was to start in Oregon since the southern Oregon coast is so beautiful and underrated by comparison. I never took the trip, so I can’t add to the feedback but sharing what I’ve heard.

It is gorgeous but then OP should spend a week and do Portland to SF, not all the way to San Diego.

Thanks for the responses. Now I am also thinking I can drive portland to sfo by road and then fly to San Diego? Given Oregon coast is prettier. Thoughts?

Personally I’d keep it simple and not add extra flights. SF to SD is still a world class road trip.
The coast is a beautiful drive but can get old and is slow. Fly at least to SF then drive from there. You’ll have more time to stop and enjoy the towns noted by Manager 1. Have fun! I’m envious.
San Diego start definitely
Word to the wise: if you get motion sickness at all - don’t do it. Haha
