Warning to anyone interviewing for the new LPL Financial hub in Hyderabad: Do not trust their initial "commitment" on notice periods.
​I’ve been in their hiring pipeline for over 6 weeks. From the very first screening call in March, they explicitly confirmed that a 90-day notice period was perfectly fine. Based on that, I invested my time into 4 rounds of interviews, clearing all of them by late April.
​Now, at the final stage, they’ve suddenly pivoted to a "strict 60-day joining" rule.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received? Life or career wise

Starting my counseling career on Tuesday and I’m scared to fail. What if I say something stupid and hurt my clients and make it worse? This is a second career for me so is hard to be older and a novice. I know it’s not about me and that I will truly care so I keep reminding myself of that. Any thoughts from others new to the field or advice from more experienced practitioners?
