It’s given me access to elite exit ops I never would have had access to before (top tier startups, investing, etc), a wide network of high performing people, given me confidence in my ability to speak to very senior leadership, taught me how to maneuver corporate politics at the highest level, and improved my ability to “think” and solve problems which bleeds over into my personal life, etc the list goes on and on

Yes. Although I’m now at a tier 2 and much happier, the opportunity, training, and experience was second to none and I made some great friends. However, now that I have some distance and perspective on how absurdly toxic that place was, I’d happily burn the whole thing down given the chance.
MBB for corporate careers is like boot camp for military careers. It absolutely sucks balls while you're in it, you do a whole lot of stupid shit that makes no sense and does not matter, but you also do a lot of other shit that does matter and gives you some basic skills that will be useful your whole life
Depends if you have the opportunity to do investing, IB, law, or tech out of undergrad. If no, then yes it will be worth it. If you have those opportunities, value prop is less clear in 2026
