Anyone have advice on switching from consulting into tech? I’ve been with my current employer a little under a year. I’m thinking after my current project ends in August that I’ll start looking for tech jobs. I’d be looking for data science and data analytics roles.

Hi everyone, I joined EPAM Systems in India as Software Engineer. It's been already a month failed couple of internal interviews haven't got placed in a project. I'm preparing as much as I can. I'm feeling these internal interviews are bit tough. Question 1) Is it safe in EPAM if one is not in a project. How long can one stay in bench. 2) Is there a possibility one can get into a project without these interviews.
How much experienced do you really need to be a good in-house/general counsel (or assistant to) applicant? Working for a single client sounds like an exciting job that I would enjoy but I have such little experience (1 year immigration law and 4 months ID litigation) so I’m trying to find a good path to help with applications in the future.
Any account management/client services folks that have made the shift to customer success roles? I’d love to know pros/cons.

Hi guys, I switched 20 days back to Optum. I have 7 years of experience working as a full stack Engineer, who is passionate working on both front end and back end on latest technologies. But my project is working only on back end with 10 years old tech stack. There is no front end work at all. What should I do? I don't like working here at all, but I am not sure whether moving out again in a month will give bad Impression on my resume. Hence please give me advice on this situation
Anyone expenses overtime meal? Is there an admin code we can charge to? I often work on multiple clients during the day, don’t feel proper to charge to one client, never expense it in the past.
I got job in EPAM recently and I have got selected for two projects out of which one uses Selenium and other one Katalon studio. The katalon studio project has informed that they use docker, aws in their project so i got excited to opt it so that it will be an experience to work (also to add katalon too in skills) . Now my question is, How good actually is Katalon project? Is it any useful in career to someone who's 5 years of Automation QA Exp? Wanted to hear from u guys for few view points.
Hey all, I’ve recently joined EY consulting from another Big 4 and have noticed there’s no discipline (at least in my team) around codes and charging time. People either charge a standard 7 hrs or some will charge time spent on internal activities to their client code. I was told that “the last person to charge their actual hours worked was promptly booted off the project”. Just wondering: 1) Is this a general cultural point accross all Consulting teams? Will challengin this get me in trouble?
Need advice: I am being put under the bus as consultant because of internal client rivalry. The client that won the rivalry kicked out the other person from the team and now is looking to get rid off me by saying “I should save face and exit!” or he will put me on blacklist because of “performance issues”. What should I do? This is internal politics and I have no stake in it. Should I go after the client and tell his leadership what is going since I have enough evidence or let it go?

I’m mid-level in my HR career at my current company and an upcoming Master’s graduate. Studying for my SHRM-CP too. How did you make the transition to that next level? What skills do you need, or is it really just based on YOE (I am the youngest compared to my teammates, many who have 10+ YOE)? I feel like career pathing is not very clear at my company. Each time I ask for guidance on this from my manager, I get told they’ll look into it.... would love some external mentorship and thoughts 🙏🏼
I will be joining JPMorgan Chase, wanted to check if they support and sponsor further education(mba)? If so, what would be the eligible and acceptable criteria? Thank you.
