Most firms have a "global mobility portal" or something like that. Are you looking for a permanent transfer or a 1-2 year secondment? The process will likely be different depending. Secondments are traditionally at the Manager level and above (might be available at experienced senior, but most people I've seen have been Managers). They are competitive so reserved for high performers. I'd suggest reaching out to your coach to express your desire. They should be able to guide you in the appropriate direction. If there's a partner you're comfortable with you can also use them as a starting point.
These things can take some time to work out, however, so definitely start having convos now for a secondment a year or two down the line.
Yeah I was a high performer partly acting senior this year and I'm trying to start he conversations for next year after my first senior year. And Im looking at a secondment or full transfer if it gave me a better opportunity
Start by having the convos now to place you in the pipeline. They should be able to tell you if there's secondments available at the senior level and give you guidance on what things you need to do to formally apply. Obviously full transfers are more difficult because then you'd need to apply directly as an employee of the other country's firm and deal with obtaining a working visa outside of EYs channels.
I want to do this too
