So- we run Dynamic Creative Optimization (DCO) for our clients display ads in a feed and corresponding google sheet via Google DoubleClick. My q is- does anyone know what systems out there allow for creating a template that will automatically pull a product image from say Target.com and automatically building the ad & copy without manually making 1000 ads via row for row in the google sheet? I know this is possible but curious if Sizmek or Flashtalking are more common in this type of creative development.

Oof, I’ve seen that chaos as well. At my last job, we had five different folders across three platforms, and no one knew which version of the logo was current. We eventually switched to Brandfolder, and it totally changed the game, we could finally see who was using what, where, and when. It even helped us shout out our freelancers properly.

I work at a large CPG company and we’ve faced similar challenges with keeping track of usage rights and making sure teams only reuse content that’s been cleared. We partner with an agency for influencer collabs, and once usage rights are confirmed, we download and store assets in a shared drive organized by campaign. Each file is labeled with usage dates so anyone pulling content knows what’s approved and when it expires.
For UGC, we DM creators to request usage rights, but that’s harder to track and manage. We don’t have a formal DRM system in place yet, so I’d also love to hear what’s working well for others.
