We have a business teacher who only puts the bare minimum information on our check stubs. I know that when I was in the army we had a very good breakdown of each line item. But of course I don’t have those stubs. Does anyone know where I can find a good example of what a paystub should look like?

I’ve recently started work at a very young tech startup. Coming from a big law background, this was a huge change of pace/environment. I’m having a lot of trouble getting used to how unstructured the startup is. It feels like hire ups give a set of instructions then talk as if they don’t remember, or then decided rules A, B, C and D applies without being clear this was the case. Is this just the general startup environment? If you experienced this before, how did you deal with It?
