How to get release from an important project?
I feel that way too bud

My LM is so keen on small small things, not related to coding but documentation and all. Atleast once in a week I'm committing mistakes on small documentation points n he is stressing on same. Are there any chances that my probation will not be extended or is it a clue for me from my LM. He is Looping his LM and asking questions/clarifications.
Should I ask him directly or can be ignored or need to try outside. Please suggest Barclays

Bowl Leader
I had no WLB in private practice. After I became a dad I went in house as a midlevel and my first in house role was less than 9-5 basically - it was incredible. My current role is pretty much 9-5, though some days I start at 8:30 or end at 4.
I have tons of PTO I can actually use as well and don’t have to worry about factoring in billables or getting inane calls from the partners while I’m away.
I travel for work sometimes which can call for long days, but typically there is some luxury in that too so there’s still balance. One day this week I was with my team from 7:45am until midnight, pretty much non-stop except for a couple short breaks, but 3 of those hours was at a winery so hardly anything to complain about.
The law firm model is incompatible with true WLB, especially when a “reasonable” billable expectation is like 1700-1800 hours which still sucks.
WLB is mentioned when they want to pay you below market for nearly the same amount of work.
Damn I don’t even go into the office…
