We use EDM4 2016 edition
As does my district. We used the CCSS EDM for 4 years, and then it rolled over to the EDM4 version for the past 2 years. But our district has found our elementary Math scores have not improved at all. If anything, the scores have dropped considerably. We’re now revisiting what our options are for Math instruction. They’re considering rewriting the curriculum and using EDM4 as a supplemental, which I have no idea that would work with the way it is structured.
We did a data dig and found some of the holes that EDM4 had. We came up with some strategies to implement using AVMR & the Kentucky Numeracy Project resources (similar to the Florida Reading Resources website but for math) We were trained in AVMR as a tier 2 intervention piece, and our math scores have improved. We also use NWEA data (we give it 3 times/year) to dig deeper and direct instruction in the classroom as well as make groups for Title I support in mathematics.
