Compliance question here, I have always thought of the SALT deduction on the fed return as a perm item & have treated as such in such sch M-3. I see that some people put it as a temp on sch M-3. What is the justification for treating it as a temp on the M-3. You don’t set up a deferred on the def RF for the state tax deduct & it is also a rate impacting item (I know that some temps can be rate impacting). But this all leaves me to side with perm. Does anyone know the logic behind temp treatment?

Went from a big firm to work for a smaller firm. The people in the smaller firm are protective of their work and are good by their work too. I no longer feel chaos or stress. I am treated with respect and my schedule is more normal. I am even working more billable hours than before, but it feels like a seamless experience. I don’t work then past 5pm or anything out of the ordinary for this time of the year. I am so grateful!

Hey all! after many years abroad I've taken the crazy decision to try and move back to Italy. I'm in contact with a couple of international companies (from startups to enterprise) that may be willing to hire me for a Customer Success Manager remote role based in Italy even though they do not have an entity in Italy. I'm looking for insights / personal experiences from people that may be in a similar position. The biggest doubt is if it's viable to manage it via a B2B (partita Iva) agreement.
