Anyone have with recent experience interviewing/hiring with FP? Most of what I found online is from pre-covid but it sounds like things might have changed a bit.

My last therapist keeps coming up in my mind. I left her when I moved to a new area before COVID dug in and frankly it felt like leaving a girlfriend. She also disclosed in the final session that she was a member of AA and knew several of the people I occasionally discussed from the rooms. Her knowledge of the program certainly built trust with me early on, but it has been two years. I discussed it with my current therapist but she’s still in there. Any advice?

How do you respond to a super close friend who says they're not making masks mandatory at their June wedding (about 150 guests) because they want to have fun. To be fair, most people are vaccinated but not everyone os going to be vaccinated. I haven't been to any large gatherings in pver a year and even though im vaccinated, i don't think this is safe. Are people are generally careful? I dont think so... am i overthinking this?

Ok, I’m gonna say this. Schools should open. Now hear me out. My wife is a family doctor, she is working insane hours, she is treating covid patients, and there is a lot of days when she has to stay at the hospital without coming home. My neighbour works in a local grocery store, so he has been at work since the Day 1 of lockdown. MIL had symptoms beginning 12/13 and tested positive for Covid. She wants us to come over on the 25th regardless of if she still tests positive or not because it’s out of the 10 day window and she could “test positive for a while.” It’s only her and my FIL in the house and he is showing no symptoms. I have received an offer as SD1 at Amazon Gurgaon. I have 1 yr and 6 months of experience. I did my BTech in computer science from 2016-20. I had some active backlogs as well. Due to covid, many exams were not conducted and as for the ones that did happen, the results are taking forever to come. Right now I have one backlog and the result is yet to be announced. I am positive I will pass. Will this affect my offer from Amazon during background check as I am yet to receive degree?

Anyone live with a general plat exception rather than insisting upon the title company specifying the matters on plat which constitute exceptions? Is it just me or are there entirely too many people in Business Services, specifically TC’s, who are just folks from client service that don’t want to deal with hours and travel anymore but have no formal training in the Business Services function they transition to? It seems to me very few TC’s are professionals in HR with any background, training or certifications in HR.
