We’re almost done with our work for the year, and now it’s time for rewards and bonuses. After all the effort, long days, and teamwork, do you think management has truly justified your hard work? Are you satisfied with how performance is recognized in your workplace, or do you expect more appreciation as the year ends?

As a private wealth advisor, I only care what my clients and what my team think of my work and leadership. I am paid on a grid, and bonuses have a set formula, so it doesn’t really matter if mgmt appreciates me or not. Having said that, I do have a really good relationship with my mgmt team, because my team produces for the firm and we don’t give them trouble/headaches.

Similar to UBS… my comp mostly comes from my grid… but I do draw a salary and bonus for leading a team, so that portion of my bonus is discretionary, but I usually get maxed out at 25% of my base…

I definitely feel like I used to be more appreciated in the workplace. But as the economy has worsened, that appreciation has definitely gone down. It seems like bonuses are only really reserved for upper management, at least in some meaningful way. My bonuses have definitely stagnated and I don't know what to do about it.

I feel like my achievements don’t necessarily matter as long as I get my work done. Everyone tends to get a similar bonus

I’m satisfied but i feel loke i cpuldbt been granted more, especially since I’ve been helping other teams and doing work outside of my role.

We know some jurisdictions out there still have rules that think the digital age is the same as it was in the 90’s, so with how much work is being done remotely lately, what are your biggest ethics concerns? Have any ridiculous ethics opinions that have made you facepalm at how dated our practice can be sometimes?

I gained weight during my last relationship (probably around 30 lbs, and I’m 5’9”). Before my relationship, I felt like I could get any guy. User experience mgr salary? I support six product teams and eight reports. 20+ years experience

I have an offer and want to negotiate

1. London base salary but I have to absorb all the expenses (train + stay)
I am thinking to negotiate to

2. home base salary and have my expenses paid for

I know that's depends on the amount I have to travel (and potentially stay) but at the moment this is unknown. Past 8 months was just twice a month + 2 nights stay.

The only thing I know is it won't be every week, the return trian ticket is about £80-100, depends I could plan ahead.

I am a registered sales assistant which means I have my series 7. I also have the 63 and my Life & Health license. I was a financial advisor but the role is commission only so I decided to take a role as an assistant for some time to learn etc. I really like my role, but I only make 32k a year and after taxes I only take home about 25k. I have a gut feeling that I’m not being paid market value but it’s tough to find comparable salaries. Do you think $15.38/hr is a fair wage in this case?
