We’re are using Shopify for over 25 over our beverage brands but I’ve been told by peers that Shopify will have some pains scaling to a massive amount of brands. Any tips or experiences to know when we should be looking at another ecommerce platform.

CTR, contracts and department overhaul

our marketing dept is undergoing a complete overhaul. under old leadership, a $75k 12-mo contract was signed to a marketing group that handles our SEO, blog and everything Google Ads. All things I can and am in training to do. Current CTRs on G ads seem pitiful at no more than 0.75%. My meta ads coast around 4-6%. During this overhaul, would it be wise to not renew our contract, and negotiate for me to take over these roles and leverage a raise?

What tools do you use for quarterly brand trackers? I’d like to do a survey for my customers to measure brand sentiment. Are there better tools than Google Form?

Since iOS 14 changes, Facebook ads isn't the same anymore. Why?

A. >75% iOS users denied tracking. They are no longer tracked across websites/apps. Facebook lost its edge.
B. Targeting and conversion tracking aren't as effective anymore.
C. Many advertisers have been migrating their budgets from Facebook to Apple and Amazon ads.

Switching career fields - Any advice on virtual ‘Brand Strategy’ courses/certificates/tools/websites etc?

I’ve heard of classes by Mark Pollard & Julian Cole or courses via Udemy, Hubspot, Credly - would love to add a noteworthy certificate to my LinkedIn but not 100% necessary. Mostly looking to increase my knowledge in a career field I know nothing about.

Is it totally weird to request another meeting after getting a job offer to make sure it's a right fit? 🤔

I've noticed that sometimes I still have lingering questions. ❔

I've been burnt out by toxic work environments, so I don't want to make another mistake. 🙄

How would you handle this logistics of this meeting? (Timing - after the offer but with time before you start? How to phrase the reason why?)

Will an MBA set me apart? I have a BS in Marketing from top 15 undergraduate business program with a 3.8 gpa, 2 years work experience (3 by the time I’d enroll), and scored in the 63rd percentile on the gmat. This qualifies me for an average business school (ranked below ~50). My goal is to move into a management position within the next 5 years and eventually move into a director or c-suite role. At your companies, do most upper-level marketing employees have an MBA? Is it from a top school?
