Product. Consulting is dying
If the company you're considering is mature enough to be publicly traded, I wouldn't really consider them a startup. They're just a tech company.
Pick the product role in tech. If you want a career in consulting, stay at pwc or at least jump to a peer or better firm.
Attempts at culture, but tbh it died out after our third round of lay offs last year. just not the same. and depends which department for wlb.
WM is a solid company however if the startup has traction and involves AI, then jump into the startup world.
After some rough years for our people, I think we have good momentum as a whole with some positive leadership shifts and solid profitability. On the product side, we fill a niche that doesn’t have a lot of competition. I work with that team a lot out of an industry vertical and there are some excellent people. I happen to think culture and WLB are better than most consulting firms, having worked for others. Sounds like two very compelling opportunities. If you feel a startup itch and believe in the product and its leadership, go for it, but if not, i vouch for WM as a solid opportunity.
I second all of this - very well said
My suggestion(s) and my opinion: continue to do diligence (outside of FB) on West Monroe, and be cautious with the expectation of near-term change.

One is a startup, one provides you opportunities to build your own book of business.
