What AI tools do you think would benefit UX designers on their day-to-day?

Generative AI models such as chat gpt would help assist in brainstorming ideas and doing research. You could use image generating AI to get some creative ideas or just to jump start you creativity brain juices.

Just talk to it like it is a human it will definitely respond like one and frustrate you but through that frustration your neurons will fire and you will be hit with a answer to whatever it is you are trying to get past. AI doesn’t have emotions so you can go full agro on it u like you could with a human.

There are quite a few things you could use chatGPT or similar tools for as a UX designer.
1) Ask it to create a role description for you
2) Ask it to list the steps needed to complete a particular task
3) Ask it to create survey questions for your users - benchmarking, satisfaction, etc.
4) Ask it to create a list of fake data for you for your mock-ups. For example, you can ask it to create a list of advertising campaigns for a travel company. If you get good at it you can tell it what date formats to use, comma delimited, etc. Some tools even let you import these lists (Axure). They are annoying to generate and tedious to enter.
5) Help with UX writing. Ask it to create ten versions of a hover help and then construct your own using the best bits.
6) Write a persona for a particular role.

Obviously, you should be talking to your users. However, these can be good starting points for a discussion with users. Or you can use them to get started before the results of UXR are ready. Asking chatGPT to produce mock-ups is a joke so far. It uses character based “pictures” like from the 1980s. A pipe character for a vertical line, etc. Just pathetic.

Assuming the following holds tomorrow, I expect we will get a call of AZ around 11:15am ET, and NV and PA around 12:15pm ET.

AZ: next batch of Maricopa ballots 55% or less for Trump
NV: Biden wins >60% of next batch of ballots in Clark County
PA: Biden extends lead beyond 35K ballots

My intuition is that the networks want to call all three to provide extra margin for error given the stakes and fine margins.

Reorgs are just a part of the corporate world. If you haven’t been a part of one in your career yet, then you most likely haven’t been in the corporate workforce for very long. If you have been a part of a reorg, however, how do you personally approach it? There are many factors at play, but in general do you try to establish relationships with the individuals you know will be key contributors and/or decision makers going forward? Or do you lay low and let what ever happens be/hope for the best?
