Sounds familiar.
sure does, doesnt it? feels the same for a lot of people
I work for a payer, not the one you are referencing but we got $0 increase across the board and our bonuses, which are tied to company performance, were inexplicably reduced by 50% from the metrics in our compensation plan.
that’s rough. $0 across the board and bonuses slashed 50% from what the plan literally spelled out? That’s feels like a straight up bait and switch.
Happening more and more lately. Companies are having record-breaking profits, but none of that benefits the employees. Making everyone ask why they work so hard when there’s no reward in it.
Yeah, it's straight-up demoralizing watching the numbers roll in; record profits, stock buybacks hitting all-time highs, execs cashing out massive bonuses and then you look at your paycheck and it's basically the same as last year, maybe a 2-3% "raise" if you're lucky. Feels like the company's success is happening despite the people doing the actual work, not because of them.
That’s shocking! It really shows how little they value their employees. Unbelievable!
Yeah, it’s shocking when they do stuff like that. It’s disrespectful. No wonder morale tanks in places like that.
