What are everyone’s thoughts on hiring once we get through the holidays? I know it’s a toss up with the economy, but looking to transition from consulting to comms/corporate responsibility in finance. Should I assume the hiring process is as terribly long as consulting? Thanks all!

Anyone have any impressions of Alumni Ventures Group (AVG)?

Do I accept a job position in an area that I’m unsure if I like because I haven’t really practiced in it as much but the pay is really good? Or do I stay in a job position that allows me to work in the area that I think I’m interested in staying in long term but the pay is much lower? For reference I am a third year.

I think my company that I am GC of is a sinking ship, the issue is I have too much equity in the company to jump. I’m trying to save the ship rather than jump overboard I hope it’s the right decision.
