I am working with tcs with 4.9 years of experience in bps domain with 2.9lpa .i m really frustrated.please anyone can help me to land new job . currently in my notice period and i m from non tech background.b.com in finance and accounts.

Wondering if anyone can share the approximate timeline after applying to Target Corp. to hearing something from them. Applied 9/1 and on the applicant portal the status still says “in progress.” I got a great internal referral, but I’ve not reached out to the hiring manager. 😬 I know there were a few hundred applicants — what’s a realistic timeline and what could I say to the hiring manager if I reach out to them. Context: Graduated in 2019 (Finance), 2 years at EY as a business consultant on mix of pmo projects and tech projects where I was developer (data vis, power platform, sql, vba, data analysis etc.). Joined Google on a 6 month contract as a data analyst.

I have started my career in backend web development. (NodeJS)
It's been one year.
So far I like what I'm doing.
However I hear so many stories of how people in cloud , ML or data science earn huge packages.
So, to survive or earn well, should I consider switching to any of these ?
If possible could you help me with what to learn and any resources for that ?

Does anyone have ideas on how to navigate a smaller team environment when everyone’s roles seem to be stretched (hiring for additional people has been taking a while, not sure why). The stress causes some tension and that’s probably not great for the overall morale of the company long-term. I try to ignore and just stay focused on what I need to do yet sometimes proves challenging. I worry it might affect my professional/career growth. Thoughts on this would be helpful, thanks!

I know it’ll vary across geography and company size, but it seems like around $180-200k for all-in comp (base/bonus/equity) is reasonable for a mid-size private company in CA. Or am I off my rocker?
