Happy Wednesday! I am trying to plan with our AP and climate lead on what we can do in distance learning as a school wide event. I suggested we still host our multicultural club assemblies on zoom for the school. Anyone have experience with zoom assemblies to promote a positive climate in DL? Thanks!

I was recently offered a Zoom interview. The school had 10 interview slots for me to choose from. Three were one day this week and the rest are next week. I chose the first time slot available. Should I have waited until one of the last slots so I was fresher on their mind when choosing a candidate? I am just sitting here stressing out until I here something. Hi! Can someone recommend a source for learning how do simple, fun music lessons on Zoom? I teach first grade and use music for my transitions. Hi all! I work at a nonprofit and am looking to leave the organization. As I browse available positions in my area, I’m realizing there is a LOT of crossover between my current org and others, for example shared board members, folks who are on our board and employed at one of the institutions I’m interested in, etc.. Is there a way to say “my current org doesn’t know I’m looking, so please treat my interest with discretion” that doesn’t raise red flags? Thanks!

Did a first interview with hr rep, went very well. she set up the hiring manager meeting for a few days later. Met with the manager. Another great conversation, went over time and was told I’d hear back about panel set up. Following day I get a request from hr rep to “continue the conversation” with manager. This is set up Tuesday.
Why do you think the manager wants to meet again? Good? Bad? I felt great about the interview when we ended.

Hi 🐠, question on CFA / CAIA- are either worth pursuing if you want to “up” your professional bonafides? I don’t come from a background in finance, but work primarily w/ PEGs like so many of us.

Long term I would like to become a financial advisor but don’t like the high selling pressure aspect when starting off. I would like to slowly build clientele on the side as I work. Are there any entry level roles that could lead to a financial advisor role that anyone recommends?
