Hi, is CfA still worth it? I work in infrastructure private equity and recently I have been promoted to investment manager. I would like to know what other qualifications/courses are relevant at this stage in order to boost my credibility and knowledge.

Is it crazy to switch a job while undergoing IVF?
I’ve been in my current role for almost 4 years. While I am generally happy, & have flexibility with time off for personal matters, there are things that bother me. I have an offer for way more money, manager title (which I want), much larger bonus & IVF benefit is better. However, I’m in the middle of stims and it is STRESSFUL. Part of me can’t imagine taking on a new role while I’m in the middle of this. But also feel like I can’t pass it up

The tech job pays 15k more, but from what I can see will be a cluster and super long hours (has EU stakeholders). Maybe a pipe dream, but I want to have a "somewhat" decent wlb while still growing my career toward strategy and finance.

Had a miscarriage.. it’s my 1st baby and we didn’t find out until 12 weeks (via ultrasound) that the baby passed away at 9 weeks and had to get a dnc. My body is still recovering.. Just want some hope or I guess stories of success after having a miscarriage. I do have pcos so it’s harder for me to get pregnant.. but it still happened. Anyone have any thoughts or advice? I was wondering if anybody on here has warned their replacement to basically run and not take the job?? I’m leaving my job next Friday due to a toxic boss that was hired three years ago. I have a week and a half to train my replacement who I really happen to like and I really feel like I need to warn her not to put down roots.
