My understanding on this so far is that the Iranian regime threatened dxath to the US and Israel. Additionally Iran was enriching uranium which was seen as a perceived threat by the UN. It signaled a huge potential Iran would be restarting their nuclear program which was promised to be shut down years ago. That’s what the US negotiations have been doing for the past year. One of the items negotiated with Iran was to ask them to stop as they reach about 60 percent of uranium enrichment.
Now I personally have my own thoughts on this war but I’ll keep those off of here.
In terms of Israel I’m pretty confident when it comes to the US it’s not going to touch its leader. Why? Political suxxde. There’s alot of politics when it comes to Israel it’s untouchable at least by the US
No there actually wasn’t any strike last year that destroyed Iran’s nuclear facilities. What happened were smaller covert sabotage incidents in prior years, mostly attributed to Israel, not the US. However Iran’s enrichment program never fully stopped .The issue is ongoing enrichment, not rebuilding after a recent attack. To clarify further, Iran had previously agreed to limit uranium enrichment, but they never fully stopped. When it became clear they were still pushing ahead, the US tried negotiating to get them to roll it back. Iran’s leadership essentially said they weren’t stopping and continued making threats toward the US and Israel if pressured. So naturally the US and its closest ally weren’t just going to sit back and ignore it.
Now the US position is to give back Iran to its people. It is separating the government (which the US and Israel have an issue with ) from the citizens of Iran due to the country’s complicated regime history going back 50 years.
The chances are very low, because Israel has the best intelligence network in the world, which will be very hard for Iran to attack the leaders of Israel especially Netenhayu
How is Netenyahu a common enemy of the US? The US just coordinated an attack with him

Chill, D1. Was just a dumb joke!
Chief
In what world do you think Israel is an enemy of the US? What foreign policy from the US at any point in the last several decades would indicate anything but a blank check for Israel’s wars?

Now I’m convinced! Thank you!
Netanyahu is one of many, his successor will be just like him no matter how you feel about him
Im an isolationist for this reason… they deserve each other in my opinion

Netanyahu flew to Germany as the conflict started so it's quite unlikely
His empty office got hit by an Iranian rocket though
