I've been interviewing with some companies, and now I have to decide between JPMorgan Chase and Globant.
Globant is more innovative, and has remote work. I will enter to work with a Sillicon Valley startup based in San Francisco. The tech stack is React, Nextjs, AWS, and a serverless architecture.
JPM is semi remote, and less innovative. The tech stack Java, SpringBoot and AWS. But I'd do more migration tasks, like dockerize projects and pass them to kubernetes. What would you choose?

Got a random email from a supposed Amazon recruiter for a SDE position (which is not at all a fit). The email is amazon.com domain and there are no red flags in the body but it doesn't feel like an Amazon recruiter due to the tacky signature, etc. Has anyone seen this kind of cold-calling from FAANG recruiter?

At Senior 5 weeks PTO plus 2 weeks Sick
7 paid weeks of leave. I've had no issues using all of it each year
^agree that PTO not effecting util is so great! At Deloitte, any non-billable time (including PTO/sick time) brings util down. This forces you to work a lot more on normal weeks to be able to use your PTO and still hit your util target.

As a senior, I have 25 vacation days. Plus 10 days of sick/personal time.

Bought a sick road bike and only had to pay a few hundred after reimbursement with the fitness fund
$60 phone bill, $25 internet (as of today...), $500 fitness fund + home office, $175 for second monitor, bunch of IT peripherals and accessories for home office, these were the ones I used personally.
It’s done through mercury/deltek under the misc/sundry code. Attach your bill and mention that it’s for covid. If you check the daily news it has the instructions
I was at EY for five years and now I’m at KPMG. Benefits were 100 times better at the EY. 
The gym reimbursement is clutch
fitness reimbursement can also go towards ergonomic home office equipment this year. EY also offers 5 free sessions of therapy (for any reason). haven’t personally used it, but saw a thread on here saying it was helpful and relatively easy to set up

Fitness reimbursement basically gets me a new pair of high end running shoes and something fancy that I wouldn’t otherwise buy (cork yoga mat? Yes please) yearly
I’ve tried to get shoes and was rejected
