Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

Not in SFDC, we're running flat out
It's all the Making America Great Again that's taking place. Can't you feel it?
Lol, no
Messaging recently from Charles Aris, a consultant executive placement firm: Why’s everyone on the beach? We can’t help but notice that more of you seem to be on the beach these days than anytime over the past five years. In addition, more than one Top 10 firm is currently engaged in layoffs. The economy seems to be humming along quite nicely, so what gives? Did a few of the firms overhire? Or is the market simply waning?
Depends on your group. Mine is starving for talent - but it's very niche and hard to hire well for it.
Definitely an increase in bench time here at Accenture recently.
Overhire and poor management in the hiring process
At Kearney is presumably the firm you are talking about. ATK has had a rough year caused mainly by poor partner comp structure causing the highest performing partners to leave mainly for comp reasons. This crushed utilization and forced a change in the performance management process to get rid of 10% of the workforce although more cuts have happened since- my guess is the RIF is closer to 15-20% with new layoffs. Furthermore we overhired MBA graduates which never helps with the problem.
Nope.
Yes, slightly.
