Those who tuned into KPMG town hall, thoughts?
Hi All,
Looking to make the move from working in industry to big4 and was curious as to what level and pay I might be worth?
I have 10 years experience out of uni, as well as completed CPA and MBA. I have a experience in managing entire finance function of small/medium entities, but most notably solid corporate finance experience/strategy leading refinance exercises, debt raising, hedging/treasury strategy etc…Would be looking for something in deal advisory / M&A / CFO advisory etc….thanks Deloitte EY PwC @

Yeah probs more the industries you’ve mentioned, telco, mining, natural resources also.
Less tech, media, automotive etc
Thanks for the reply
I feel this varies greatly by firm, as the bigger consulting firms would be looking at the big end of town (e.g ASX 50) whilst other smaller firms may specifically be looking for smaller clients.
In general, I'd say ASX 50 / ASX 200 industry split is probably reasonably indicative of the industries that consultants are likely to serve.
Govt is trickier to put a number on as it differs by firm, and right now is politically sensitive.
Thank you!
