Seattle. Left NYC during the pandemic and love it in NC. Wife loves it. The office is empty at 5pm to beat traffic. And we’re able to enjoy our weekends 80% of the time with maybe a couple of hours of work on Sunday evenings to get ahead of Monday work.
We do need black friends though. So please join us. I haven’t had soul food since Christmas at my in-laws 😩
How was your experience lateraling into Seattle? I'm currently trying to make that jump from the midwest but that market has been tough...

I love DC except for like 1-2 weeks out of the year when the crazies roll into town.

What are the main reasons NYC isn’t worth it for you?
DC! I miss the pace of life and the food in NYC though. DC feels like a sleepy town by comparison. But I love how much free stuff there is to do here!
