What do you think is going to happen with Trump’s legal troubles?

Probably nothing, at least nothing meaningful. That man is beyond guilty of a hundred major crimes and everyone seems too afraid to touch him.

like

I think he will get indicted, and then a slap on the wrist essentially. But he has angered far too many people in power right now to get off the hook completely - and it does appear to be a national security issue. No laughing matter.

I hope he's going to go to jail. I am aware that a more realistic outcome is that he's forced to apologize, or some other bull. Nothing was done while he was obviously breaking laws in office, nothing was done about the sexual assault claims, I doubt that the US government would allow a former president to go to jail, regardless of who it is.

like

It would be easier to get him into a jail cell than to get him to apologize

Idk I can’t imagine the FBI got a warrant, found what they’re looking for, and DOJ doesn’t seek an indictment. Now do I think he will actually go to prison? meh. But I can’t imagine they wouldn’t indict.

like

Depends on hw much he is willing to spend for it. I don't have that much faith in our justice system when it involves really big names with enormous wealth and investments.

like

I'll be honest, I don't think anything will come of it. They have been going after trump for years and nothing ever comes of it. It seems like he can get away with murder.

like

Nothing. Nothing ever happens with that guy

Hmm. Honestly, I think he's going to be fine. That man is loaded and can support years or even decades worth of litigation costs.

I think he will be indicted, but maybe they will enter into some sort of plea bargaining (NB: I’m not a criminal law attorney). But I doubt if he’s going to escape being indicted this time. It’s quite serious.

Not a damn thing.

From consulting to investing / lending - anyone has guidance on how to make the move? I’m a consulting manager with finance experience pre-MBA. Thinking about pivoting into investing / lending but struggle to find an angle - assumed that it would be hard to break into investing but lending would be great (all the way from corporate banking to mezz). Any guidance on seeking relevant experience while in consulting?
