Different from firm to firm but I’ve heard of bonuses ranging from 0-50% or more of base salary depending on how far you exceed target.

Post-Covid, I just cannot seem to find the inspiration to network at a conference such as the AWS DC summit. I initially wanted to get facetime with vendors to check out potential job openings. But it just feels like a large circle jerk where no productive work gets done. And besides all keynote addresses are recorded and available online anyway. Wondering if anyone out there feels differently or has had better experiences from these events? #aws
