What I generally see are people overconfidently going into interviews focused on the technical aspect of their skillset but not paying attention to how they talk about their past experiences. I had a tremendous response in getting my foot in the door in interviews when I realized I needed to better prepare for these types of questions.

Most of these are senior level positions, so interviews were tough. Didn’t get the job for one or the other reason. Finally accepted a offer with a large tech company. Keep on trying..

I was told to apply to a hospital job by someone interested in interviewing me. The recruiter reached out. Asked for my availability but then didn’t respond when I gave her my availability. I followed up. We scheduled a phone call (she said she’d call) and then she didn’t call! At this point, I’m thinking they’re totally disorganized. Is this common practice? I’ve never dealt with a recruiter so I don’t know.

Graduated in April with my PharmD/MBA degrees. I did two great biopharma internships, had my resume professionally edited, perfected my interview skills and started applying to jobs in January. I have talked to 20 plus recruiters maybe 3 have actually gotten me interviews the rest ghost me. I had an amazing interview last week (legit the guy told me they want a 3rd interview and it’s been a week and I texted him and never heard back. What am I supposed to do? I want a remote biopharma job :/
