I have about 4.5 yoe in a reputed Internet company. I want to move further into analytics.

A lot of my work in the current role is on spreadsheets. I am fairly good with EDA on R and Python

The only thing I lack is SQL experience. I have learnt it online, the basic queries, joins etc. This gap is hindering my chances to get an interview.

I want to build some kind of a portfolio showcasing my SQL skills. Can anyone guide me /share prototypes around this area? Thank you!

Do you guys ever follow up with potential employers after an interview when they don’t get back to you? If so, what’s the appropriate time to wait? One week? Two weeks? What do you say?

I have joined morgan stanley on 1st aug. My final interview was on 6th June. The Hr released offer on 29th june. My lwd was 30 june. Hi! The organization I have been interviewing for has recently put all roles on a hiring freeze BUT decided to offer me a contract role until it lifts (ETA Q1, 2023). My question is what would be reasonable compensation (full time 40 hrs, weekly).

The role is Sr. Digital Marketing & Strategy Analyst for med device company. I have 10+ YOE with undergraduate in visual communications and masters in Information Technology. TIA

Currently without employment and in a bit of a dilemma: My non preferred company did a bait and switch with the role, took a month to get me the e-contract with start date TBD (2-3 weeks down the line). My preferred company is interviewing super slowly, the position is senior, pay is great and commute is lower. Ok to tell non preferred to wait longer or will it make HR mad at me and take the offer away?

Had an interview with Hexaware and 3 days back HR1 called me and said she will send the offer letter next week. 2 days back HR2 called me and said a client interview is scheduled for you and I attended that. Now if I fail to clear the client interview round, will I not receive the offer letter that is promised by the HR1?
