Got a random email from a supposed Amazon recruiter for a SDE position (which is not at all a fit). The email is amazon.com domain and there are no red flags in the body but it doesn't feel like an Amazon recruiter due to the tacky signature, etc. Has anyone seen this kind of cold-calling from FAANG recruiter?

I’ll be the first to say that we have issues as a company and our CEO doesn’t have a great vision.
But I think what’s happening to our stock is way overblown. We’ve still managed to in general best earnings the last few quarters. Sales outlook hasn’t been great but also not terrible. Are we the best company at the moment? No.
But we are still growing (not enough but still positive) and returning cash to shareholders.
I think this tanking based on external news is overblown and not really reflective of the actual fundamentals of the company.

I shouldn’t talk though…i’ve stock from 15 years ago so my position is way lower from their current point. I guess humble brag 😅
It seems that their customers have finally clued in that Accenture’s primary m.o. is NOT to solve the customer’s challenge, but to always continue billing via inefficient delivery. At least this has always been the case in N.A. In Europe, Accenture people seem to actually get training, and can occasionally be decent consultants. Accenture… Accident of the Future (and Present)!

What does Accenture do that a good and proper internal AI team can’t? Somehow those questions are being asked. By clients and shareholders.
Many good leaders left Accenture the last few years. Julie replaced with yes men with no vision. The result is as you’d expect.
