I recently turned down a 300k role at a holco to take a 230k role at an indie. Culture and ways of working are what I value most. The holco model of multiple layers and endless fiddling micromanagement make this industry so hellish that no amount of money or prestigious clients is going to be worth the displeasure of enduring it.

Hi everyone,

Software test automation engineer 4.5 yoe

I have got 2 offers -
Emerson export engineering - 15L fixed + 1.6 variable
Wolters Kluwer - 15L fixed + 10% bonus + 1L joining bonus

Which one is better and which should i join. Emerson is calling to office from 1st days and wolters kluwer have agreed for few months of work from home.

Any advice would be appreciated.
