I got a remote L6 SWE offer at Google but the RSUs are too low for that level ($625k over 4 years), could not negotiate it higher. I’ve accepted the offer but trying to be hopeful that I could make it more equitable in the future if I perform well. Are stock refreshers based on the initial RSU grant or solely based on performance? Google

You can choose between pixel or iPhone. 100% covered.
You can get $50 as a reimbursement for your phone service. That’s the only way to keep your number, I think (I could be wrong. I chose a new phone + new line as I like to keep work and personal separate)
My understanding is up to 50 month personal reimbursement
They cover my full phone bill on personal phone. I used a Corp negotiated rate with AT&T - it’s $89/month. Cover a certain amount of device cost a year if you’re doing your own phone. Think it’s $200 or something like that - or you can get a company phone and use that. Never heard the $50/month limit
Yes US market
Or you can go with a corporate plan which are generally great
Phone refresh every year no out of pockrt
You can get a Google corporate phone, I don’t know if you *have* to get a pixel or if it’s just what everyone gets. Or they pay different amounts depending on your carrier on personal phone, $50 as an average is probably right. You have to expense personal phone monthly.
You cannot do both.
Phone refresh is for corporate only, minimum of 1 year.
They do both - you can transfer your line and they pay all of it, or you could just expense one personal line.
You'll have the latest pixels and some older iPhones to choose from.
Yes, you should get it back if you leave, you would just have to transfer it to your own plan. I’d wait to worry about this til you pass HC, tbh.
