If I don’t go to the exam (remain absent) do I still have to wait for the results to be out for requesting a new NTS?

Have been getting interviews with banks (3 in 2 months) but I come up short with the modeling experience (and weak on the technicals too). I’m thinking doing a modeling course will help with the no modeling experience + update my technicals? Thanks.
