Hotel recommendations in Sydney and Melbourne?
Hi Londoners ,
Moving in from outside UK.
Looking out for some areas in west / NW London where one can live with an infant on max 1400£ rental while requiring one partner to travel to Central occasionally for work and the other person 3 days a week to LHR.
Some Qns:
1) Will 1 Bedroom be too cramped for the infant to grow up? Should I raise budget?
2) I prefer being in family /childcare friendly areas. Had Harrow, Acton in mind . Are they good for my budget or any other suggestions?

Got messaged by a C3 . ai recruiter. Read that wlb is bad and that the interview process is absurdly long, but the Glassdoor reviews are 4.2 and can't find actual hours worked posted by anyone. How's the culture really? I'd be aiming for DS consulting, something more functional but with DS/ML concepts as my differentiator.

I'm serving notice period in TCS and my last day is in 2 weeks. I requested for pickup of laptop in the portal but I came to know that it will take time for pickup and I won't be available if they come late. So I decided to go to office and surrender the laptop as I'm in the location of office only. Is there a seperate request to be raised for surrender of laptop and how to cancel the existing request for pickup. Please guide.Tata Consultancy

Actual? About $300-350. Most airlines inflate their points value though so can be better to ask for e-voucher (e.g. UA values their miles at 2 cents per point when giving goodwill which is well above actual worth)
Use the thepointsguy.com for valuation. I think they are about 1 cent.
Airlines are more opt to give you points or vouchers than cold hard cash.
Or if someone can advise: are airlines more willing to give cash (reimbursement), miles, or flight vouchers when dealing with customer complaints that are the airlines fault?
C1 Keep in mind that TPG tends to have bloated valuations. You’re better off aggregating TPG with Lucky of OMAAT and Gary Leff of VFTW
D1 I’m honestly not sure what any of that means but I went ahead and asked for a voucher.
AA miles are worth about 1.5 cents per mile
You may be better off asking regarding the specific issue and how many points/$ others have received.
It’s a very convoluted tale of delays, cancellations, diversions, missed rental cars, no space in the airline’s lounge, and rocking chair business calls. I asked for a $600 voucher so we’ll see 🤷🏻♂️
